CENTRAL ISLIP - A woman from Central Islip has been charged with driving on drugs when she crashed into a school bus yesterday.

Police say 29-year-old Tyajia Anthony crashed her Jeep into a mini-school bus carrying special-needs children.

Two aides and two special-needs children were on the bus, but no one was seriously injured.

Court documents show Anthony's license was suspended six times. Her license has been suspended again.

Anthony is being held on $10,000 bail and is due back in court Oct. 3. Her lawyer says she has not done anything wrong and that the incident is getting blown out of proportion because it involves a school bus.
