FARMINGDALE - A Long Island bookkeeper pleaded not guilty today to stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from her employer.

Authorities say Two Brothers Scrap Metal bookkeeper Christa Ramos embezzled more than $600,000 from the Farmingdale company.

The Suffolk District Attorney's Office says the 45-year-old racked up $200,000 in personal charges on a corporate credit card. They say she also used company money to go on several vacations and to attend this year's Super Bowl.

Ramos faces up to 15 years behind bars if convicted.
