WOODBURY - Officials say a court appointed trustee has already recovered $10 billion in losses for the people who were ripped off by Bernie Madoff.

The trustee is predicting that the money pot will grow even bigger in the coming months.

He says he is trying to track down the $20 billion lost in the scam but plans to start paying out $2.6 billion by the end of the year.

Madoff is currently serving a 150-year sentence.
