SOUTHAMPTON - A former Southampton Town supervisor went on trial today.
Linda Kabot was arrested for allegedly driving drunk on Memorial Day in 2009.
Kabot's lawyer William Keahon says she refused to take a Breathalyzer test because she was set up by police. Keahon called it a politically motivated attempt to keep Kabot from being re-elected.
Kabot's trial was moved to Riverhead because several Southampton judges recused themselves.
