Another toxic waste site has been discovered near a school, park and well field for the Water Authority of Western Nassau in New Hyde Park.

Currently being used as a lumber yard, the former ZOE chemical site on Falmouth Avenue has been added to the state’s Superfund list.

According to state environmental officials, the site poses a "significant threat to public health and the environment."
