CALVERTON - The town of Riverhead has proposed redevelopment plans for the former home of the Grumman Corporation in Calverton.

The town is proposing adding apartments, stores and restaurants to the site.

The site has remained vacant since Grumman left in the late 90s. The town of Riverhead owns the land and has been trying to decide what to do with it.

A public hearing on the plan will be held next month.
