LEVITTOWN - Plow and sand truck crews across the Island are ready to go as a winter storm is threatening to wallop the area tonight into tomorrow.

However, some Long Island residents say they are skeptical of their towns? preparedness, especially after how the last snowstorm cleanup was handled.

To ease some of the concerns, Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray says GPS devices have been installed in every plow to make sure neighborhoods get cleared.
