RONKONKOMA - The Town of Brookhaven held a public hearing on the latest plan to redevelop the area around the Ronkonkoma train station, known as the Ronkonkoma hub.

The plan is expected to cost $475 million.

Some opponents say there's already too much traffic in the area, but Bobby Barbone, of Nesconset, says that's part of living on Long Island.

"It's crowded, but it's crowded everywhere," he says. "The population is growing and we need things like this. We can't help it. People are having babies. We're a growing community."
