SAYVILLE - A driver pleaded not guilty today to charges that he was driving high and speeding when he caused a deadly crash in Suffolk.

Prosecutors say Thomas Herman was driving up to 100 miles an hour in Sayville when he hit seven cars in January.

Sam Longo, 82, of West Islip was killed when Herman hit the seventh car.

Herman was arraigned on second-degree murder charges, accused of driving high on PCP, oxycodone, morphine and Xanax.
