BETHPAGE - "The Sound of Music" aired on TV live from a studio on Long Island Thursday night.

NBC aired the play live from Grumman Studios in Bethpage.

The stars of the play included Carrie Underwood as Maria Von Trapp alongside 12-year-old Watts Gorman as Louisa.
