Police are trying to track down the gunman behind an overnight shooting in Uniondale.

UNIONDALE - Police are trying to track down the gunman behind an overnight shooting in Uniondale.

Officials say a 19-year-old man was shot in the arm and shoulder as he sat in his car on James Place.

It happened at around 1:15 a.m. Sunday.

The victim told police that he saw a white BMW drive away at the time of the shooting
