ELMONT - ? Cops say a young man was shot in the leg in Elmont near a busy roadway. Police say the 19-year-old was walking with his friend on Blackstone Street near Hempstead Turnpike a little after midnight this morning. Investigators say while walking, they got into an argument with a group of men. Shots were fired, and the teen realized he had been hit in the leg. It is not clear why they were arguing. No arrests have been made.
