A teen was killed in a one-car crash Sunday morning in Westbury.

WESTBURY - A teen was killed in a one-car crash Sunday morning in Westbury.

Officials say Quentin Abram, 19, crashed into a tree after crossing a northbound lane at a high rate of speed around 8:30 a.m. on Merrick Avenue.

Abram was hospitalized with severe internal bleeding, and was pronounced dead shortly after 9 a.m. 

There were no other passengers in the car.

The vehicle has been impounded for a safety and brake inspection.
