A young man is reportedly hurt after a boating accident in Mount Sinai. Police say they responded to Harbor Road near the Mount Sinai Yacht

MOUNT SINAI - A young man is reportedly hurt after a boating accident in Mount Sinai.

Police say they responded to Harbor Road near the Mount Sinai Yacht Club after a 911 call.

Suffolk police tell News 12 an 18-year-old was thrown overboard when his boat hit a wave, and his arm hit the boat's propeller. His friend pulled him back onto the boat.

He was rushed to Stony Brook University hospital. Police say his injury is non-life threatening.
