WEST BABYLON - A police pursuit ended with an arrest after a driver hit two police cars.Police say they were pursuing a suspect last night in West Babylon at around 10:30 p.m. They say he tried to escape pursuit, hitting two patrol cars, and then tried to make a run for it.The patrol car was then hit by another car when the police were trying to stop the suspect from running away.The driver, 19-year-old Malachi Ware, of North Amityville, was eventually arrested. He is charged with two counts of criminal mischief in the second degree and one count of unlawfully fleeing police.Officials say the four police hurt in the chase are OK.
