Tebow gets celebrity welcome to NY Jets

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. - The New York Jets' arguably most high-profile acquisition, quarterback Tim Tebow, made his media debut today.

The press conference was held at the team's training facility to accommodate one of the largest media turnouts in the franchise's history.

Tebow says that despite being the backup quarterback behind current starter Mark Sanchez, he is excited to work with Sanchez and has a lot of respect for him.

Despite the all the media attention on the new quarterback, Jets owner Woody Johnson, head coach Rex Ryan and general manager Mike Tannebaum were in Florida at NFL meetings.
