MONTAUK - A group of cyclists is riding to Montauk to raise money for a good cause.

Team Viscardi is run by Joe Slaninka, an assistant teacher at the Henry Viscardi School - a regional school for students with disabilities. This year, the group is participating in the Ride to Montauk to raise money for the school.

The Ride to Montauk runs the length of Long Island. Cyclists participating say it is a great way to get exercise and take in Long Island's scenery.

Slaninka says he hopes to continue the ride every year to raise money for the school. The group has raised more than $60,000 already this year.
