PORT JEFFERSON - A taxicab crash in Port Jefferson left one person dead last night.

Investigators say Lindy's taxi driver, Jason Adams, was on Colgate Street yesterday when his cab collided with a SUV parked in a driveway.

The SUV slammed into another car located inside of a garage.

Police say the 33-year-old father from Ridge died at a local hospital.  They believe a medical event may have caused the crash.

The homeowner, who was in the house at the time, was not injured in the accident.
