WOODBURY - There is a new twist in the controversy over the Common Core curriculum.

A state task force will now hold public hearings on the standardized tests.

Stony Brook University's so-called "listening sessions" will be held tomorrow fromĀ  4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Simultaneous sessions will be held at four other sites across the state.
