WOODBURY - Talks aimed at avoiding a potentially crippling school bus strike in Suffolk County are set to resume Monday.

A pay agreement has still not been reached between Baumann & Sons Bus Company and its drivers union.

The sides met for a marathon session last week, but were not able to reach a deal.

The drivers are seeking higher pay and better benefits.

A potential strike could impact dozens of districts, including Bayport-Bluepoint, Middle Country, Northport and Commack school districts.
