JERICHO - Students at Jericho High School worked to give the gift of music back to a school that was hit hard by Superstorm Sandy.

The East Rockaway High School's music department was devastated by the storm. Floodwaters destroyed the school's auditorium, including its stage and all of the band instruments.

To help out, Jericho students put on a fundraising talent show, called "Bring Back the Music." The students say they're trying to see that their East Rockaway peers can replace their lost equipment.

The musical show also featured a silent auction and a raffle, and closed with a finale from the school's a-capella group.
