Suspect at center of Nassau PD scandal sentenced to probation

BELLMORE - The suspect at the center of an alleged police cover up in Nassau County received five years probation at his sentencing today. In March, Zachary Parker pleaded guilty to stealing $3,000 worth of computers from JFK High School in Bellmore in 2009.

Parker's burglary case led to the arrest of three former top ranking Nassau police officers. The district attorney says the officers conspired and intentionally prevented his arrest because his dad was a wealthy police donor.

Parker's driving privileges were also revoked.
