Sunday will mark a somber anniversary on Long Island.

MEDFORD - Sunday will mark a somber anniversary on Long Island.

It has been five years since the Medford pharmacy massacre.

On Father's Day in 2011, David Laffer shot and killed four people while robbing Haven Drugs of painkillers and muscle relaxers.

He was sentenced to life in prison.

His wife, Melinda Brady, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for helping plan the robbery.
