Traffic/TransitBROOKHAVEN - Many residents in the Town of Brookhaven say they're still trapped in their homes due to unplowed streets.
It has been four days since a blizzard hit Long Island, and some say they're still waiting to see a plow. Frustrated residents say some Brookhaven roads are impassible, keeping them from leaving their homes to work or get groceries.
Despite the widespread criticism, News 12 Long Island crews report seeing plows, salt trucks and front loaders all day throughout the hard-hit areas of Coram, Selden and Port Jefferson Station.
