A Suffolk County resident has been treated for a probable case of West Nile virus. Health officials will not say whether it was a man

WOODBURY - A Suffolk County resident has been treated for a probable case of West Nile virus. Health officials will not say whether it was a man or woman. However, they do say the individual was hospitalized for several days.

The person has since fully recovered. This morning, some health officials are warning that the hot, dry weather has created perfect conditions for the mosquitoes that carry West Nile.
