BRENTWOOD - Suffolk police are hosting a pharmacy safety initiative training course in response to growing issues concerning pharmacy crimes today.

The training will focus on educating pharmacy employees to help decrease robberies, illegal drug use and abuse.

According to officials, the initiative was launched to help protect members of the community and pharmacy personnel against potential robberies.
