WOODBURY - Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy will reintroduce a controversial bill concerning illegal immigrants to the legislature today, and immigrant advocates say they plan to protest.

The law would require any company that does business with the county to verify that its employees are legal citizens. Levy first pushed for the plan in 2008.

Immigrant advocates say the bill smacks of discrimination. Some say they will rally at the legislature today.
