RONKONKOMA - Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone spotlighted a so-called "Innovation Zone" aimed at building up a stronger economy during his State of the County address last night.

The plan is designed to improve transportation and infrastructure while preventing young people from moving away from Long Island.

The $350 million plan would be funded by the federal and state governments, as well as private investors.

The plan would reportedly take about five years to implement.
