YAPHANK - A ceremony was held today by Suffolk police to remember nearly two dozen officers killed in the line of duty.

The Suffolk County Police Department held its annual ceremony to honor officers killed in action. Since 1960, 22 Suffolk officers have died in the line of duty.

More than 320 officers were killed in the line of duty last year nationwide.
