WOODBURY - Suffolk officials have approved a plan that aims to keep 1,600 high-paid jobs here on Long Island. County leaders are offering Broadridge Financial Solutions an incentive package to keep its offices in Brentwood. Other state agencies and the Long Island Power Authority are in on the deal, which includes sales tax exemptions on $75 million in equipment purchases and a 15-year property tax break. The package will go before Broadridge's board of directors at a meeting next month.
