COPIAGUE - Students at the Deauville Gardens West Elementary School in Copiague got a special lesson all about air Thursday.

The lesson was hosted by Riverhead's Long Island Science Center. The children learned about air's pressure, mass and other properties.

Scientist Judy Isbitiren says her aim is to get children to enjoy science.

"Science is all around," says Isbitiren. "It doesn't always have to be in a classroom or in a laboratory setting."
