WANTAGH - Unionized Verizon workers continued picketing today in Wantagh on the third day of their strike.

The union claims the company is asking for $20,000 in give-backs from each worker, including having workers contribute to their health insurance. That prompted 45,000 Verizon employees from New England to Virginia to walk off the job.

However, Verizon insists that the current worker benefits "no longer reflect today's market" realities.
