MASTIC - Storms Friday caused some damage in eastern Suffolk County.

In Mastic, crews spent hours removing a large tree that had fallen during the storm. While proving to be a scary and potentially dangerous situation, no one was hurt.

At least one homeowner in the area lost power.

As the rain was pouring, traffic slowed to a crawl along parts of the Southern State Parkway.
