STONY BROOK - ? A Stony Brook University football player has been suspended by the NCAA over the racial content of a Twitter post he made.The NCAA suspended Matt Faiella, of New Jersey, for posting a message using what they call an ?offensive racial reference.?Faiella won?t be able to play in next year?s playoffs if Stony Brook qualifies for the postseason. The tweet was posted in December after Stony Brook played Towson.
