A motorist called News 12 Long Island this morning to alert us of a sign for Jones Beach spelled ?JONSE? on the parkway. (August 8, 2013 5:30 PM)

The name of Long Island's largest beach is misspelled on a parkway sign. A sign on the Robert Moses Causeway reads "Jonse Beach" instead of "Jones Beach." The DOT says it is making the contractor who made the sign aware of the mistake. DOT officials would not say when it will be fixed or how much it will cost....
