EAST HAMPTON - Police have arrested a Springs man for allegedly selling drugs to underage kids at his home and hosting underage drinking parties.

Police say Jefferson Eames, 48, let underage teens party at his house on Neck Path in East Hampton several times. Eames also allegedly sold Xanax to someone underage living in his home.

Eames is the father of a 16-year-old girl who would allegedly advertise the parties on Instagram and tell other teens to bring drugs, beer or pay a $10 cover fee.

Eames faces charges including drug sales, violating the social host law and nine counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Christine Moran tells News 12 Long Island that she's relieved Eames has been arrested and charged. Back in January, Moran's 18-year old son Jordan Johnson overdosed at a party at the house and was left unconscious there for more than 12 hours. She says he thought he was taking cocaine, but it was crushed up morphine. He suffered brain damage and had to learn to walk again.
