HAUPPAUGE - A spring Nor'easter has made its way out of Long Island. Some parts of the region saw up to three and a half inches of rain.
Freeport's Nautical Mile was battered overnight with wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain.
The high winds toppled trees and brought down power lines overnight.
At one point during the storm there were more than 2,000 outages.
