Josephine Rivera was arrested yesterday after officials say she left a dog at the Exxon gas station on Montauk Highway last month.

Suffolk SPCA officials say they've arrested the woman who allegedly threw a dog from her car at a Mastic gas station and drove off.

Josephine Rivera, of Mastic, is facing a misdemeanor abandonment charge for the June 23 incident on Montauk Highway.
