ROCKY POINT - Neighbors fear a Rocky Point house teetering on a cliff is on the brink of collapse.

Sand has been eroding under the vacant Soundview Drive home for years. Then, Sandy destroyed a significant chunk of the bluff behind it.

The home is in foreclosure. Bank of America says it is prepared to demolish the house even though the property is not in its legal control and the foreclosure has not been completed.

Town Councilwoman Jane Bonner says the bank plans to demolish the home by the end of the month.
