Sound Beach mother in search of bone marrow donor

SOUND BEACH - A Sound Beach mother of three, who was diagnosed with AML leukemia, is in need of a bone marrow transplant in order to survive.

Dona Brannigan was diagnosed with the cancer back in May and was immediately hospitalized and endured two rounds of chemotherapy.

Brannigan does not have a bone marrow match on the national registry, so her friends and family say they plan on pulling out the stops at their bone marrow drive this Sunday at the Miller Place Firehouse.
