PHILADELPHIA - Long Island’s Sonny Milano was drafted 16th overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets at the 2014 NHL Draft tonight.

News 12 Long Island’s Jamie Stuart was with the Massapequa native and his family ahead of the draft.

“I just want to get there already,” said Milano. 

The New York Islanders used the fifth overall pick to draft left winger Michael Dal Colle.
