Traffic/TransitHUNTINGTON - The Town of Huntington residents are experiencing a difficult time plowing and digging out from Friday's massive snowstorm.
In some parts of the town, snowdrifts as large as high as four feet continue to cause problems for people trying to leave their homes.
Some residents in East Northport told News 12 Long Island they saw plows come through the neighborhood early on Saturday morning, but have not seen any since. Many residents have taken it upon themselves to start moving the snow.

Huntington Highway Superintendent Bill Naughton says the town needs to clear 800 miles of snow and about two to three inches of ice. He says that extra contractors and crews have been brought in to finish the enormous task.
The Town of Huntington tells News 12 that it hopes to get every street plowed by Sunday night, but there is still considerable work to be done.
