DEER PARK - A young Deer Park girl thought a holiday surprise at her school was meant for everyone. Little did she know, it was all for her.

Grace Hernandez, 12, was surprised by her brother Sgt. Joseph Hernandez today at Robert Frost Middle School.

"They were telling me he might not come back for Christmas so I had no idea," said Grace. "It was just so hard because he had been gone for so long and we could only talk on the phone and he couldn't even talk for that long," she added.

Hernandez is home from South Korea for the first time since he was deployed in March.

The Hernandez family says it is the best Christmas present they could possibly receive.
