GREAT NECK - Residents in Great Neck say a snowplow hit two cars yesterday evening.

The plow had to be towed away from the accident after it skidded on ice and clipped the parked cars.

Residents say they blame the town of North Hempstead for what happened. They claim the road was never plowed earlier in the day, creating the icy conditions that caused the snowplow to lose control.

The owners of the cars say they plan to submit claims to the town.  The town says it expects to accept full financial responsibility.
