SELDEN - In the wake of the latest round of snow to pummel Long Island, many residents say they still can't walk down sidewalks in their neighborhoods.

In Selden, piles of snow along Middle Country Road have made it impossible to walk anywhere and have even blocked bus stops. Stacie Kaplan says she's epileptic and unable to drive, but has been forced to walk in the street just to get to the store.

Residents say they want to know who is responsible for clearing the walkways and when it will get done. Officials say it depends on the town. In Brookhaven, town officials say property owners and tenants are responsible for keeping their sidewalks clear.
