Smith Haven Mall evacuated after roof leaks
There is no word on whether the mall will reopen Tuesday morning (February 11, 2013)
LAKE GROVE - Smith Haven Mall was evacuated today after multiple roof leaks.
Mall officials went through the mall wing by wing to get everyone out. The evacuation was done as a precaution. Officials say the roof did not collapse.
Earlier, officials closed down one wing of the mall after a leak at NY & Company.
The evacuation orders were in effect for the rest of the night. There is no word on whether the mall will reopen Tuesday morning
