ARMONK - The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has confirmed that a small plane en route to Montauk crashed in Armonk this afternoon, killing four people on board. According to FAA officials, a Cessna 210 aircraft carrying four people went down in a wooded area about half a mile from the Westchester County Airport at around 1:30 p.m. The FAA says shortly after takeoff, the pilot radioed in that he was turning back due to some kind of problem, but the emergency landing failed.
