The sister and boyfriend of a North Babylon woman whose body was found near Gilgo Beach in December reached out to News 12 Long Island

WOODBURY - The sister and boyfriend of a North Babylon woman whose body was found near Gilgo Beach in December reached out to News 12 Long Island to remember her.

Police Monday announced that one of four murdered prostitutes who were discovered along Ocean Parkway was 27-year-old Amber Lynn Costello.

Kimberly Overstreet, Costello's sister, left a post on News 12 Long Island's Facebook page, where she wrote about Costello.

"For those of you hearing about Amber Costello being identified as one of the Craigslist prostitutes found murdered, please also remember her as my sister and my best friend who I love dearly, an aunt who my children adored, a beloved daughter to my father who are deeply mourning this loss," Overstreet wrote.

Bjorn Brodsky, of Great Neck, says he was Costello?s boyfriend for six months before she vanished in September. The 26-year-old says that he wants his girlfriend to be remembered as a kind-hearted person who was loved by many.

The other three victims have been identified as Maureen Brainard-Barnes, 25, of Norwich, Conn., Melissa Barthelemy, 24, of the Bronx, and Megan Waterman, 22, of Maine.
