NEW YORK - Long Island Rail Road riders faced delays during the evening commute Tuesday due to signal trouble at Penn Station.

At one point, MTA police restricted access into Penn Station at the 34th Street and Seventh Avenue entrance due to crowding.

At 7:43 p.m., the LIRR tweeted that it was on or close to schedule in and out of Penn Station.
