Shirley mom accused of trying to use heroin with baby in car

Police say a Shirley mom is facing drug charges after she tried to shoot up heroin in front of her baby in a Toys R

SHIRLEY - Police say a Shirley mom is facing drug charges after she tried to shoot up heroin in front of her baby in a Toys R Us parking lot yesterday afternoon.

Officers arrested Crystal Webberly, 29, in the Holbrook parking lot with her 2-month-old boy in the backseat.

Cops say Webberly was in her parked car and had tied a strap around her arm, preparing to inject herself. Investigators say they found a hypodermic needle filled with heroin.

Officials say the officers were able to stop Webberly before she used the drug.

Another woman in the car, Jaqualine Dittilo, 26, was also arrested. Dittilo allegedly lives with Webberly. Webberly's father claims Dittilo was the only one using drugs in the car.

Webberly is expected to be released on bond tomorrow. Her son is staying with his grandmother.
